On March 7, 2023, the educational courses within the framework of the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ project “European Case of Inclusive Rural Development Policy: Roadmap for Ukraine” were rolled out at Polissia National University. These educational courses are one of the main project initiatives aimed at spreading the ideas of inclusive rural development among young people, raising their awareness of EU priorities such as equality and cohesion.
Students from four university faculties (Economics and Management, Forestry and Ecology, Agronomy, Veterinary Medicine) studied the evolution, current trends, and institutional framework of the European policy of inclusive rural development, tools to support social inclusion in rural areas, and the European experience of bioeconomy development as a basis for sustainable growth.
A comprehensive system of knowledge about the inclusive model of the EU economy is formed by contemporary analytical materials and teaching techniques, lively debates, and compelling real-world examples. These elements also help to build competencies in the field of socially-centered management of territorial communities based on sustainability, equality, and conflict-free practices.
