The implementation of these initiatives will contribute to the fulfillment of identified tasks:
- to introduce the educational component of the project into the learning process of Polissia National University;
- to conceptualize and assess the added value of the expected result of the research on the project topic, substantiate the possibilities of its implementation in national policy;
- to develop the potential of civic consolidation by disseminating European ideas of cohesion policy;
- to mainstream the history of the EU’s success in implementing the basic principles of cohesion policy
The project program, in terms of educational and scientific components, anticipates the following results:
- to contribute to the formation of a new model of a cohesive democratic society, building the institutional environment, developing communication networks in the triad “state – region – hromada”, to implement the European cohesion policy tools, overcoming socio-economic and territorial disparities;
- to increase the awareness of target group representatives about European models and practices of interaction between the authorities and local communities in the process of creating possibilities for inclusive socio-economic growth;
- to encourage the activity of civic participation and leadership, and cohesion in the implementation of local initiatives.
The target groups of the project are:
- students and postgraduates;
- experts involved in the development and implementation of cohesion policy, academic community and political representatives;
- representatives of civil society, entrepreneurs, and local communities.
The project mission is to promote the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge on best solutions and European practices, experience, management, organizational, legal, and socio-economic principles of implementation of the EU cohesion policy.
