A key element of the training programme was an on-site visit to the modern waste processing facility of MS SOCIAL PROJECT LLC. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the full technological cycle of waste management – from the sorting stage to the formation of secondary raw materials. The presented engineering solutions and technologies demonstrate the effectiveness of the private sector as an active player in environmental transformation and sustainable development of local communities. The visit served as a practical training module that clearly illustrated the possibilities of implementing circular economy principles at the regional level.
The event was distinguished by a high level of organisation, informative discussions, professional competence of the participants and the clarity of the cases presented. Its significance is enhanced by the fact that it was the final event in the Jean Monnet project’s work plan, which required special attention to the quality of its preparation and conduct.
The organisers of the event express their sincere gratitude to all speakers, experts, participants and partners for their active participation, constructive interaction and contribution to the formation of a new paradigm of sustainable development. Special thanks go to Yevhen Barakh and the team of Green Bank Ukraine LLC and MS SOCIAL PROJECT LLC for their professional support, openness to cooperation and demonstration of effective partnership between science, business and the community.
