The project team with the support of the university administration in the EU Information Centre organised an interactive communication space for data exchange about successful cases of practical implementation of European ideas and principles of inclusive rural development.
The discussion was joined by representatives of government institutions (Natalia ARENDARCHUK – Director of the agro-industrial development and economic policy Department of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Olena ROMANCHUK – сhief executive of the economic development and international cooperation division, Head of the Business Hub of Radomyshl City Council), and the educational and scientific community (Peter ODRAKIEWICZ –PhD, Gniezno College Milenium Poland, Adjunct Professor and Global Partnership Management Institute, Scientific Director and CEO Proxy, Ambassador HR Academy of Management Visiting Professor EU, USA), Oksana BIALKOVSKA – vice-rector of educational, scientifically innovative and international activities in HEI «Podillia State University»)
Members of the project team presented the methodology for the formation and realization of inclusive rural development policy in the European Union. Their attention was focused on legal regulation, program initiatives, evolution, and priorities of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, as tools to support economic inclusion in rural areas. Social inclusion and EU cohesion and institutional determinants of cross-border cooperation between European regions were separate topics for scientific discussion. Representatives of state authorities in the field of hromadas management and international cooperation presented practical cases and achievements in the area of inclusive rural development based on the results of cooperation with municipalities of EU countries and the implementation of their experience.
Coverage of the features of the EU inclusive rural development policy was made through the prism of identifying advantages and opportunities for Ukraine. European experience and Ukrainian realities, politics, economy and society, bioeconomy, and sustainable development are an integrated view of common problems from different perspectives!
With the belief in a peaceful future in the common European space, the project team continues to implement educational, scientific, and communication initiatives within the framework of ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet.
