Admission process

Admission of foreigners to study can be carried out in person and / or remotely.

Remote admission is allowed if a foreigner passes it through the corresponding institution that concluded an agreement with the university.

Admission procedure for foreign students according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science №1541 from 01.11.2013, №1167 from 11.08.2017, №71 from 20.01.2021, is as follows:

• To enter the university, a foreigner personally fills out an application (standard form of MES №H-1.01.1.1 for a bachelor’s degree or №H-1.01.3.1 for a master’s degree, as well as a foreign student’s questionnaire)

• A copy of the foreigner’s passport and its translation with a notarized signature of the translator, as well as a copy of the page with a visa to cross the Ukrainian border (in case of off-line education);
• Document of education (original diploma or certificate) and its copy. A copy of the education document must be translated into Ukrainian. Both the authenticity of the copy and the signature of the translator must be certified in the education document;
• Appendix to the document on education (original and copy). A copy of the appendix to the educational document must be translated into Ukrainian, both its authenticity and the translator’s signature must be certified;
• The original and a copy of the document, which contains information about the content of the curriculum at the previous level (level) of higher education, credits, duration of study and academic performance (in the absence of this information in the appendix to the education document), obtaining a master’s degree or postgraduate education, if the lack of this information makes it impossible to recognize the qualification of the document;
• Health insurance policy, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine;
• 4 photographs of 30 x 40 mm;
• Other documents required for admission.

After the documents are checked in accordance with the above requirements, the protocol of admission to the entrance examinations is created, the protocol of the recommendation and the entrance examinations are conducted, namely two examinations: knowledge of the language of instruction and professional examination. 

Recognition of educational documents

All educational documents issued by foreign educational institutions must be nostrified (recognized) by the Ukrainian Information and Image Center https://naric.in.ua/en/. The information in the center is duplicated in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.

The foreign student independently is engaged in recognition of documents on education. The student creates a Personal Cabinet https://cutt.ly/sTi7Gb1, performs all necessary steps to recognize their documents, as well as pays for the services of the center in the prescribed manner. By a special application, the student undertakes to carry out the procedure of nostrification of educational documents during the first semester

Form

In case of non-fulfillment of these obligations, the student is expelled from the university.

Enrollment of a foreign student

Enrollment of foreigners to study for obtaining the degrees of junior bachelor, bachelor, master may be carried out on these periods:

1) three times a year (until April 15, until July 15, until December 15);

2) during the year for postgraduate studies, postgraduate studies.

After checking the documents and conducting entrance examinations, an enrollment order is prepared. This order is being verified in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education. The agreement on the provision of educational services is drawn up on the same date. Tuition fees are checked during the signing of the order.
