From idea to implementation
Last week, as well as the whole of May, Polissia National University was full of events dedicated to Europe Day in Ukraine and the first phase of the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Module project “EU Cohesion Policy”.
An innovative event that is in line with European approaches in both form and content was the E-bridge with direct student participation on the topic of “Competitiveness of EU Regions: Experience for Ukraine.” The Rector of the University Oleh Skydan and the Project Manager Tetiana Zinchuk delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of Ukraine’s European integration prospects, acceleration of the process of obtaining EU membership despite the large-scale military aggression by Russia, and intensification of the promotion of European democratic values in Ukrainian society and youth.
The E-bridge participants took an extremely responsible and creative approach to organizing the event and preparing their reports: Daniil Matveev, Denys Polishchuk, Olga Bigun (“From Integration to Innovation: Lessons of EU Competitiveness”); the originality of Yana Vdovenko’s research (“Made in Germany”: myth or growth factor“) was surprisingly pleasant; Iryna Liabakh’s speech (”Approximation of National Legislation to EU Law“) was professionally oriented; Iryna Bakina’s speech (”EU Food Standards: Implementation in Ukraine“) was socially oriented; Anastasia Slyvinska, Roman Semeniuk, Daria Fiialka demonstrated their own position and intelligence (”Trade, investment, migration: Determinants of Competitive Development of the EU Member States“); Anastasia Babaiea, Anastasia Liashuk, Maria Kushnir, Valeria Polishchuk (”European Green Development of Ukraine“) were motivated by environmental priorities; Yelyzaveta Fomenko (”EU Eco-labeling and Sustainable Business Branding”) pointed out marketing technologies in the context of environmentalization; Daria Zaluzhna’s report was interesting and useful: “Academic mobility as a tool for integration in the European educational space: opportunities for Ukrainian students”.
Students from Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukrainian universities, and non-governmental organizations were invited to participate in E-bridge. The moderator’s mission was carried out by the always attentive, with his own viewpoint, initiative Olexandr Rozhkov. All members of the ERASMUS+ team made significant efforts to actively implement the project: Natalia Kutsmus, Oleksandr Kovalchuk, Tetiana Usiuk, Oksana Prokopchuk, and Liudmyla Tarasovych.
The ERASMUS+ team expresses its sincere gratitude to all the caring participants of the E-bridge and wishes them further educational and scientific success, Victory and peace for the benefit of Ukraine!
