On March 20, 2025, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet project “European Inclusive Rural Development Policy: A Roadmap for Ukraine”, the First International Conference on Inclusive Rural Development was held, bringing together researchers from Ukraine, Poland, Malta, Norway and other countries. The plenary session of the conference discussed current features of rural development in Ukraine and the EU; tested existing trends for compliance with the idea of inclusiveness; analyzed the problems of providing the necessary skills for the prosperity of rural communities and the potential of future technologies, etc.
In addition to the plenary session, the conference program included three parallel sessions:
The logical final of the conference was a moderated panel discussion, during which the added value of knowledge about European rural development policies and their inclusive methodology was noted.
The design of the conference program facilitated the exchange of ideas, research, and visions of prospects for further rural development in Ukraine and the EU on the basis of inclusiveness, which is defined as the newest dimension of economic development. The outstanding speakers and inspiring scientific presentations made the conference an event of great scientific and practical importance.
