The long-awaited launch of the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Module “European Case of Inclusive Rural Development Policy: Roadmap for Ukraine” has taken place! The presentation of the project and its scientific, educational, and communication components took place in the atmosphere of the conviviality of Polissia National University with the support of its colleagues and the virtual presence of external stakeholders.
Behind us is an intensely competitive international project idea competition, participation in which was made possible by the unity of aspirations and pro-European views of the project team. The eclecticism of scientific interests allowed us to formulate a project idea that is equally important for the growth of both the EU and Ukraine – the formation of an inclusive rural development model.
Ahead of us lies an active, interesting, creative work on the implementation of the project’s initiative matrix with the belief in the victory and prosperity of Ukraine!
Why was precisely this idea chosen? The motivation for this decision was based on several arguments, including:
Firstly, the EU reforms and social inclusion instruments are exemplary in terms of their effectiveness in the context of disrupted supply chains, labor markets, access to credit, and slowing of innovations;
Secondly, equal priority and complementarity of investment flows in the development of green and digital infrastructure and human development to multiply growth trends.
The project’s initiative matrix combines three basic components:
Scientific component – the results of research on the chosen topic will be displayed in scientific articles and a collective monograph.
The part related to the dissemination of knowledge on the chosen topic and communication with project stakeholders includes conferences, workshops, online bridges, and interactive events for various target groups.
The educational component is based on annual blocks of elective courses that detail the idea of inclusiveness in European rural development policy and develop the hard and soft skills of students in the fields of policy-making, strategic planning for hromadas development, resource management, human talent management, etc.
